1. Melting Point and Thermal Stability

Melting point of 1435-1446°C defines the upper service envelope, with a Curie temperature of 358°C and thermal conductivity of 70.2 W/m·K (Ni200). These anchors let engineers select wire for thermal duty with confidence.

Elongation of 35% or more in the annealed state gives the wire the ductility to be formed, wound and assembled without cracking. Temper is selected per application: soft for forming, harder tempers where the wire must hold shape.
