These cables are commonly used in fixed industrial power applications, including local mains. Where required, it can be buried directly in the ground. It should be noted that the steel wire armour, whilst offering mechanical protection, makes it rigid with a large bending radius of x15 overall cable diameter and so this should be considered when choosing the suitability of the cable for your specific installation environment. Additionally, the PVC insulation means a maximum conductor operating temperature of +70℃ and a minimum temperature of -5℃.
