Product Description:
Medium voltage power cable for static application in ground, within and outside facilities, outdoor, in cable canals, in water, in conditions where cables are not exposed to heavier mechanical stress and tensile strain. These cables are commonly used for underground power distribution in networks where three-phase power is required. They are suitable for both direct burial and installation in ducts.
Cable Construction
- Circular bare aluminum-conductor of stranded wires to HD 383
- Inner semi-conducting coating
- Conductor insulation of cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE), PE-compound DIX8 to HD 620.1
- Outer extrusion of semi-conducting coating spliced with the insulation
- Wrapping of conductive material
- Shield: Braiding of copper wires with one or two tapes applied helically
- Wrapping
- PVC outer jacket, compound DMV6 to HD 620.1
