Application
AAAC conductor Bare aluminum alloy cable Canton (19/3.66mm) all aluminum alloy conductor are normally used in overhead power transmission lines.
AAAC conductor Bare aluminum alloy cable Canton (19/3.66mm) all aluminum alloy conductor is a concentrically stranded conductor composed of one or more layers of 6201-T81 aluminum alloy wires.
It was developed to fill the need for an economical conductor for aerial application, where greater mechanical strength is required than that obtained with all aluminum conductor and greater corrosion resistance than aluminum cable with ACSR
6201-T81 alloy conductors are harder, therefore, have greater abrasion resistance than 1350-H19 aluminum conductors.
However, the same precautions taken when handling AAC and AAC conductors must be observed when handling AAAC conductors.
The stringing combinations of CAL cables are similar to those of AAC cables.
