ACAR 900MCM 465mm2 Aluminum Conductor Alloy Reinforced ASTM B524
ACAR 900MCM 465mm2(18/3.962mm, 19/3.962mm) aluminum conductor alyminum alloy reinforced ASTM B524 are used as bare overhead transmission cable in primary and secondary distribution cable. ACAR has a better mechanical and electrical properties compared to an equivalent conductors of ACSR, AAC or AAAC. A very good balance between the mechanical and electrical properties makes ACAR the best choice where the ampacity, strength, and light weight are the main consideration of the line design.
