Product Description:
Tree wire is self-supporting covered conductor that is used in place of bare conductor in overhead primary distribution. Tree wire is used to reduce outages in areas where there is potential for incidental contact with tree limbs.
Conductors are concentrically stranded, AAC (1350-H19), either compressed or full compact depending on conductor size, AAAC or ACSR. Available with high-density track-resistant polyethylene (HDTRPE) or Track-Resistant Crosslinked Polyethylene (XLPE) covering.
