6.35/11KV 3x120mm2 AL/SC/XLPE/SC/CTS/PVC/SWA/PVC MV power cable underground cable IEC60502-2 are made of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), it allows for long-term operating temperatures up to 90°C and a maximum short-circuit temperature of 250°C (lasting no more than 5 seconds).
Using fine round steel wire armor significantly enhances its resistance to axial tensile forces, making it suitable for vertical installations, shafts, bridges, and other environments with large drops or vibrations.
Cable Construction
Conductor: Plain annealed stranded circular compacted aluminum conductor (Class 2)
Conductor Screen: Extruded layer of cross-linkable semi-conducting compound
Insulation: Extruded layer of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE)
Insulation Screen: Extruded layer of cross-linkable semi-conducting compound
Metallic Screen: Flat plain copper tape helically applied over insulation screen with suitable overlap
Inner Sheath: Extruded layer of Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
Armor: Steel wire armor(SWA)
Outer Sheath: Extruded layer of Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
