Application
0.6/1kV 2X2/0+2/0AWG triplex aluminum overhead cable is composed of two insulated AAC phase conductors and one bare AAAC neutral messenger conductor. It is specially designed for low-voltage overhead power distribution systems, delivering electricity from utility main lines to residential buildings, villas and small commercial premises through outdoor weather heads.
This triplex service drop cable is rated at 0.6/1kV low voltage. Adopting high-performance XLPE insulation, the cable supports a maximum continuous conductor operating temperature of 90°C, featuring excellent UV resistance, weather resistance, anti-aging and anti-corrosion performance for long-term outdoor overhead exposure. The bare AAAC neutral messenger undertakes dual functions of neutral current transmission and cable tensile bearing, ensuring stable suspension and safe operation of the overhead line.
CONSTRUCTION
Phase Conductor
1350-H19 series all aluminum conductor (AAC), standard or compact stranded structure, conductor size 2/0 AWG with high conductivity and stable electrical performance.
Neutral Messenger Conductor
Bare all aluminum alloy conductor (AAAC) without insulation layer. It acts as the neutral return path and serves as the load-bearing messenger wire to support the overall tension of the overhead cable.
Insulation
Each phase conductor is individually extruded with black cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation. The insulation features high temperature resistance, ultraviolet stabilization and outstanding outdoor weatherproof performance.
