XHIV Copper Conductor 12/20kV 1x120mm2 XLPE Insulated Copper Tape Screened PVC Sheathed Medium Voltage Cable
The XHIV is a single-core, non-armoured medium-voltage cable for utility and industrial power distribution at 12/20 kV (24 kV Um). Its construction follows IEC 60502-2 throughout: a circular compacted Class-2 copper conductor is covered by an extruded semi-conducting conductor screen, cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation and an extruded semi-conducting insulation screen, forming a triple-extruded bonded insulation system. Over the insulation screen a flat copper-tape metallic screen is applied helically with overlap and secured with a thin binder tape; the black PVC outer sheath is then extruded directly over the screen assembly — no inner covering or bedding is used. The copper-tape screen limits electromagnetic interference and provides a reliable path for earth-fault currents, while the bonded triple-extrusion ensures void-free insulation and long service life under high electrical stress.
Applications: Fixed installation in utility MV distribution networks; power supply to substations, switching stations and large industrial consumers; indoor installation in cable trenches and ducts, outdoor runs on cable ladders and racks; underground networks with additional mechanical protection; renewable-energy collection from wind and solar parks; mining, port and heavy-industrial power supply. Suitable for projects specifying French NF C 33-220, IEC 60502-2 or equivalent national standards. The non-armoured design keeps the cable flexible and easy to terminate, making it ideal for indoor and duct installations where external mechanical protection is provided.

After you pay the freight charge and send us confirmed files, the samples will be ready for delivery in 3-7 days. The samples will be sent to you via express and arrive in 3~7 days. You can use your own express account or prepay us if you do not have an account.
