Excellent Corrosion Resistance
304 perforated stainless steel plate has good corrosion resistance, but it is prone to pitting and crevice corrosion in chlorine containing environments or high-temperature acidic conditions.
Good Resistance to Oxidation
304 stainless steel (18% Cr–8% Ni) forms a dense chromium oxide film on its surface, providing excellent resistance to oxidation in ambient air at room temperature. This film effectively blocks oxygen and moisture, preventing further oxidation of the underlying metal.
Good Chemical Stability
304 stainless steel is primarily composed of 18% chromium and 8% nickel. Chromium forms an oxide film on the surface that prevents further corrosion by oxygen, while nickel makes the metal structure more compact, reducing the risk of corrosion. This combination ensures that 304 stainless steel reacts almost not at all with water or air at room temperature; even acid rain and saltwater struggle to affect its “stability.”
Excellent Weldability and Formability
The balanced chromium-nickel composition allows 304 perforated stainless steel sheet to be easily punched, bent, welded, and fabricated into customized designs.

SUS304 perforated sheet are sheets with regular holes punched or laser-cut into a 304 stainless steel substrate. They combine functionality (ventilation, filtration, sound absorption) with decorative appeal and are widely used in construction, industry, and home furnishings.
304 stainless steel is a general-purpose austenitic stainless steel containing ≥18% chromium and ≥8% nickel, offering excellent mechanical properties.
Tensile Strength: ≥520 MPa
Yield Strength: ≥205 MPa
Elongation: ≥40%
Even with a hole diameter of 5 mm, the tensile strength of the perforated sheet remains at ≥520 MPa
Its high ductility makes it suitable for forming processes such as stamping and bending, and it is resistant to fracture
This strength ensures that perforated sheets can withstand significant external forces without deformation in applications such as load-bearing, protection, and ventilation.
The durability of 304 stainless steel is primarily reflected in its corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance:
A dense chromium oxide film forms on the surface, effectively resisting corrosion from moisture, acids, and alkalis
It can withstand 96 hours in a 5% salt spray environment without rusting (GB/T 10125 standard)
Resistant to high temperatures and chemical exposure, making it suitable for outdoor or industrial environments
Low maintenance, no need for frequent repainting, and easy to clean
The perforated design itself also enhances durability: the holes allow for ventilation and heat dissipation, reducing localized overheating; irregularly shaped holes improve impact resistance
Building curtain walls: Hole diameter 10–20 mm, thickness 1.5–3 mm, combining aesthetic appeal with ventilation functionality
Industrial protective covers: Tensile strength ≥520 MPa, used for protecting mechanical equipment
Ventilation louvers: Open area ratio ≥50%, offering high ventilation efficiency and durability
The high strength (high tensile and yield strengths, good ductility) and durability (corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, low maintenance) of Rust proof 304 perforated inox sheet make them an ideal choice for the architectural, industrial, and residential sectors. Their performance advantages are particularly evident in humid or heavy-duty environments, making them a high-quality material that combines functionality with aesthetics
