The JTA-AC640 is a compact 640×512 uncooled vanadium-oxide (VOx) thermal imaging core module from the AC series engineered as a drop-in functional replacement for the ChenEn AC-series cores. It pairs a 640×512 (effective) detector array at 12μm pixel pitch with a 9mm lens delivering a 46.2°×37.7° field of view, outputting analog CVBS (PAL) video at 50Hz for seamless integration into FPV systems, drone gimbals, handheld thermal devices and machine-vision OEM builds.

Weighing just 54g in a 28×28×41mm housing with a low ≤1W power draw from a wide 4.5V~27V supply, it supports automatic shutter calibration (auto flag), adjustable image enhancement, brightness/contrast, electronic zoom 1X~8X, and multiple pseudo-color modes (white-hot default, black-hot, red-hot, iron-red, etc.).
