The owner should pay attention to the following points: ① Do not strike or collide with the central area of the steering wheel where the airbag is installed to prevent the airbag from accidentally triggering; ② Do not place any items on the steering wheel cover in front of the airbag, and do not directly rinse this area with water; ③ Maintain the correct sitting posture, with the back tightly against the seat and maintaining an appropriate safety distance from the airbag; ④ After the vehicle is powered on, observe the airbag indicator lights on the instrument panel. Under normal circumstances, they will light up for self-check and then go out automatically. If they remain on or light up during driving, it is necessary to have them repaired in time; ⑤ Do not modify the wiring of the airbag system or add non-original accessories on the steering wheel.

Before disassembly, strictly follow the professional safety procedures. The steps are as follows: ① Disconnect the negative cable of the battery and wait for at least 1 minute to deactivate the airbag system to prevent accidental triggering; ② Ensure that the steering column and front wheels are in a straight driving direction to ensure accurate installation positioning in the future; ③ Use an internal six-point wrench (T30) tool to remove the two fixing screws of the airbag; ④ Unplug the driver's side airbag connector and remove the airbag module. After disassembly, install the new module in the opposite order and reconnect the negative cable. After replacing the airbag computer, use a dedicated diagnostic device for matching and testing.
