Q1: What are the differences between the various versions of the Porsche Cayenne in different regions?

North America: The Cayenne has a strong foothold in the luxury SUV market in the United States and is a key driver of Porsche's sales in the country.
China: The Cayenne was one of the first models to introduce the concept of ultra-luxury SUVs in China. The entry-level 3.0T version and the Coupe variant were particularly popular.
Europe: Due to emission regulations, the European market is dominated by E-Hybrid hybrid models, while pure gasoline vehicles with large displacement account for a relatively small proportion.

Q2: Why is the SRS indicator light still on in my Cayenne after the airbags were replaced?
This is the most common problem with Porsche models, and the reasons usually fall into three categories:
Unencoded: The electronic systems of Porsche are extremely sensitive. After replacing the new airbag module, it is necessary to use the PIWIS (Porsche-specific diagnostic tool) to clear the fault codes and perform online encoding. The universal decoders available in ordinary repair shops may not be able to completely eliminate them.
Spring/Watch Spring Issue: If the disassembly is not done properly, the "spring" that connects the steering wheel and the airbag is prone to break, resulting in a signal interruption.
Resistance value mismatch: The resistance values of airbags with different suffixes (such as F and G) are slightly different. If the models of the new and old parts are not completely identical, the vehicle's computer will determine it as a fault.

Q3: What does the part number 95B 880 201 F that I saw mean?
OE Number Interpretation:
95B: This is the chassis code for the Porsche Macan (the first generation). Since Macan and Cayenne share many components, this airbag assembly with this code is also widely used in Cayenne (generations 958.2 and 9YA).
880 201: The main identification number of the airbag assembly.
F: Suffix code. It represents specific hardware version, airbag filler formula or the type of steering wheel it is compatible with (such as whether it has heating function, specific color or specific year's electronic control logic).
Note: When replacing, the suffix letters (F, G, H, etc.) should preferably be the same as those of the original vehicle; otherwise, reprogramming may be required or it may not be compatible.
