This flanged, electric, triple-eccentric, multi-layer butterfly valve is precisely engineered to meet the demands of industrial-grade applications under ANSI standards. It features a gradient material configuration consisting of an ASTM A515 GR.70 pressure vessel-grade carbon steel valve body paired with a CF8M stainless steel disc, and is equipped with a heavy-duty pneumatic actuator and a multi-layer sealing system that combines rigid and flexible elements. It incorporates three-dimensional triple-eccentric frictionless opening and closing technology, achieving comprehensive breakthroughs across four key dimensions—pressure-bearing quality, corrosion resistance, drive efficiency, and sealing reliability—to provide a highly reliable, long-life, automated fluid control solution for large-diameter American Standard process pipelines.
Product Advantages
● The valve body is crafted from ASTM A515 Grade 70 carbon steel specifically designed for pressure vessels. Unlike conventional WCB general-purpose cast steel, this material is engineered for medium-temperature pressure vessel applications, featuring a uniform and dense microstructure, offering superior medium-temperature toughness, thermal fatigue resistance, and stress crack resistance. It fully complies with ASME pressure vessel material selection standards and can stably withstand medium loads and thermal cycling impacts under Class 150 rated pressure over the long term, ensuring pressure vessel-grade safety and quality for mainline valves right from the base material.
● It employs a multi-layer sealing structure with a gradient lamination of “flexible sealing layer + rigid support layer + metal matrix layer,” specifically optimized to address the sealing challenges posed by large-diameter 34-inch sealing surfaces. The entire sealing system has a wide temperature resistance range and is suitable for medium-temperature process media. It maintains stable performance without degradation under thermal cycling conditions, and its overall service life is several times longer than that of ordinary single-seal valves. This significantly reduces the frequency of seal replacements and downtime maintenance costs for large-diameter valves, making it particularly suitable for large-scale process facilities that operate continuously and have limited maintenance windows.
● Standardized ANSI flange connections offer exceptional engineering adaptability, enabling seamless integration with both new and existing pipelines without the need for non-standard modifications. During subsequent maintenance, the valve can be disassembled and reassembled independently without affecting the main pipelines on either side, significantly reducing downtime and operational risks associated with large-diameter valves and aligning with the standardized operation and maintenance schedules of large-scale process facilities.
