XLPE Insulated Power Cable Features
Power cables are designed for transmitting and distributing electrical energy. These YJV cables serve as backbone cables in power transmission systems, commonly installed in urban underground passages (underground manhole covers) or buried directly underground.
Installation Precautions
- The minimum bending radius when laying the cable should not be less than 10 times the outer diameter of the cable.
- YJV/YJLV cables are suitable for indoor installation, in channels and pipes, and can be buried in loose soil where they won't experience external forces.
- YJV22/YJLV22 cables are designed for underground laying and can withstand external mechanical forces, but not large tensile forces.
- Use specialized tools for cable laying, such as pay-off racks and guide rollers, to prevent mechanical damage and keep cables away from heat sources.
- When laying cables through pipes, the inner diameter should not be less than 1.5 times the outer diameter of the cable. Avoid squeezing the cable during installation, and ensure the total cable area does not exceed 40% of the pipe's total area.
