AAC AAAC ACSR Bare Conductors Aluminium Corrosion Resistant For Overhead Lines
AAC is primarily used in urban areas with short spacing and close supports. All aluminium conductors are manufactured from one or more strands of aluminium wire, depending on the intended application. AAC is also extensively utilized in coastal regions due to its high corrosion resistance.
Minfeng AAC conductors are manufactured in compliance with the following standards:
- ASTM B230, NTC 360: Aluminum 1350-H19 Wire
- ASTM B231, NTC 308: Concentric-Lay-Stranded Aluminum 1350 Conductors
- IEC 228 for sizes in mm²
ACSR conductors are widely employed in power transmission lines across various voltage levels due to their advantageous characteristics, including simple structure, convenient installation and maintenance, low cost, and large transmission capacity. They are particularly suitable for installation across rivers, valleys, and areas with unique geographical features.

AAAC conductors are engineered to provide superior strength-to-weight ratios and enhanced electrical properties. They offer excellent sag-tension characteristics and superior corrosion resistance compared to ACSR conductors. The lighter weight, comparable strength and current carrying capacity, reduced electrical losses, and improved corrosion resistance have made AAAC widely accepted in distribution and medium to high voltage transmission lines.
