Product Overview
Steel Wire Armoured (SWA) Cable constructed with black PVC sheath, XLPE insulation, copper conductors, and steel wire armouring. Designed for mains electricity applications including underground laying, power networks, and both external and internal use.

Applications
Ideal for mains electricity in various applications including laying underground, power networks, incoming mains to homes, and both external and internal uses. Suitable for direct burial with steel wire armouring providing protection from external damage.
Construction Details
- Conductors: Plain circular, compacted or shaped stranded copper or aluminium conductor
- Insulation: XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) rated at 90°C
- Color Identification: 4 Cores: Red, Yellow, Blue, Black (customizable)
- Assembly/Inner Sheath: Laid-up with non-hygroscopic fillers and PVC bedding
- Armour: Galvanized Steel Wires
- Sheath: Extruded PVC Type ST2
Special sheathing materials available on request including Fire Retardant PVC, Anti-Termite PVC, LSZH, and others.
