Product Description

FU PROMISE Micro Heat Regenerative Adsorption Dryer (FN-MT Series) - Low Dew Point Compressed Air Dryer for Industrial Use

Product Overview

FU PROMISE Adsorption Dryer (referred to as "Adsorption Dryer") is a deep dewatering equipment developed for high-demand drying applications. Adopting Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) or heatless regeneration principle, it uses activated alumina and molecular sieve as adsorbents to deeply adsorb moisture in compressed air, achieving a pressure dew point as low as -20℃ to -70℃. It meets the extremely high requirements for compressed air dryness in industries such as precision electronics, food and pharmaceutical, and instrument testing.

FU PROMISE Adsorption Dryers are divided into two major series: Heatless Regeneration (FN-AT) and Micro Heat Regeneration (FN-MT), with a processing flow range of 1~200m³/min. Adopting a dual-tower alternating operation mode, it realizes continuous and uninterrupted air supply, and the adsorbent regeneration energy consumption is far lower than the industry average, making it the preferred drying equipment for high dew point requirement scenarios.

Working Principle

FU PROMISE Adsorption Dryer adopts a dual-tower switching operation mode, with one tower for adsorption and the other for regeneration, cycling alternately:

  • Adsorption Phase: Moist compressed air enters the adsorption tower, and moisture is adsorbed by the micropores on the surface of the adsorbent (activated alumina/molecular sieve). The dried air is discharged from the top of the tower, with a pressure dew point of -20~-70℃.
  • Regeneration Phase: When the adsorption tower is saturated, it switches to regeneration mode, and the moisture in the adsorbent is desorbed in the following ways:
    • Heatless Regeneration: A portion of the dried compressed air (about 10~15%) is decompressed to atmospheric pressure and purges the adsorption tower in reverse to remove moisture and complete regeneration.
    • Micro Heat Regeneration: A small amount of dry air (about 2~5%) is heated to 180~200℃ by an electric heater to purge the adsorption tower and desorb moisture, with lower regeneration energy consumption.

  • Cooling Phase (Exclusive to Micro Heat Regeneration): After regeneration, normal temperature dry air is introduced to cool the adsorption tower, restoring its adsorption capacity for the next round of adsorption.
  • Dual-Tower Alternation: The adsorption/regeneration status of the two towers is automatically switched by the pneumatic valve group, with a switching cycle of 5~10 minutes, realizing continuous air supply.

Core Product Features

  • The micro heat regeneration model is equipped with a ceramic heater, with thermal efficiency ≥90%, high temperature resistance, and service life ≥10,000 hours.
  • Intelligent PLC control system, supporting functions such as dew point monitoring, adjustable regeneration time, fault alarm, and remote control.
  • Optional dew point transmitter to display the compressed air dew point value in real time, with automatic alarm for exceeding the standard.
  • Overall design life ≥10 years, adsorbent service life ≥2~3 years (under normal working conditions).

Typical Application Scenarios

  • Low Temperature Environment: Outdoor compressed air systems in northern China (to avoid pipeline freezing).
  • High-End Spraying: Automobile baking paint, high-end furniture spraying (to avoid paint bubbles and defects caused by moisture).
  • Aerospace: Aerospace parts processing, pneumatic control systems (high cleanliness and low dew point requirements).

Adsorbent Replacement & Maintenance Key Points

  • Under normal working conditions, replace activated alumina every 2~3 years and molecular sieve every 3~4 years.
  • If the compressed air has high oil content (≥5mg/m³), a high-precision oil removal filter must be installed in front, otherwise the adsorbent will fail due to "oil poisoning".
  • Regularly check the seals of the adsorption tower to avoid air leakage leading to incomplete regeneration and increased dew point.
  • For micro heat regeneration models, regularly check the heater temperature to avoid burning the adsorbent due to excessive temperature.
  • If the machine is shut down for more than 72 hours, close the inlet valve and keep positive pressure in the adsorption tower to prevent the adsorbent from absorbing moisture and failing.
