This air shock absorber core (strut) is designed for the front air suspension system of the Land Rover Discovery 3, available in two separate versions for front left and front right positions. Typically, after driving 400-600 km, the strut will gradually break in to a stable condition. If the discomfort persists beyond 1,000 km, check whether the installation is correct or whether the correct model was matched.

Q2: There is a "creaking" noise from the front axle while driving after strut installation. What is the cause?

This type of noise is usually not a problem with the strut itself, but rather an installation-related issue. Common causes include: 1) The top nut of the strut is not tightened to the specified torque, causing loosening at the connection between the strut and the vehicle body; 2) The dust boot or bump stop is misaligned and rubbing against the strut body; 3) The lower control arm or stabilizer bar mounting bolts are not fully tightened. It is recommended to first check the torque of all bolts, remove the front wheel and observe whether the dust boot is correctly positioned. Only after ruling out installation issues should you determine whether the strut itself has any abnormalities.

Q3: Are the Discovery 3 front struts and rear struts interchangeable?
