Invisible optical cable is the abbreviation for transparent tight-buffered optical cable covered with hot melt glue. It is an optical cable composed of G.657.B3 or G657A optical fiber with a transparent tight jacket layer. Each layer is extruded step by step using an extrusion process.

The application of invisible optical cable is ideal for situations where users do not accept the use of traditional fiber optic cable to enter the home, or to solve the problem of difficult home access, particularly in older residential areas and offices. The fiber has a minimum bending radius, and when laying, there is no need for nailing, making brackets, perforating, or using pipes, which preserves the original indoor structure and eliminates safety hazards such as sagging or falling off due to discontinuous laying.

Additionally, the optical cable is almost transparent, ensuring it does not affect indoor decoration. The construction method is simple, requiring only hand-held heating installation tools to complete the laying project.
