The device seamlessly integrates with identification systems including facial recognition terminals and card readers , allowing easy upgrade to an intelligent access control and attendance terminal . When a worker enters by swiping a card or using facial recognition , the system automatically records the arrival time . Upon exit , the worker is identified again , and the system automatically calculates the total working duration for the day ( exit time minus entry time ) , with the option to deduct preset periods such as lunch breaks . The attendance report can be exported directly and interfaced with the payroll system , completely eliminating manual statistical errors and buddy punching cheating , thus achieving unattended and highly efficient management .
