The Cisco Firepower 3105 (FPR3105-NGFW-K9) is a compact 1U rack-mount next-generation firewall tailored for mid-sized enterprise internet edges, branch data centers and hybrid office deployments. Powered by an AMD 12-core processor, 64GB RAM and 200GB SSD, it adopts purpose-built security hardware acceleration to sustain full performance even with advanced threat inspection enabled. The platform supports dual software modes: modern Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) for comprehensive NGFW capabilities or traditional ASA firewall firmware, delivering flexible deployment and long-term investment protection.
