Specify the Plastic and Cutting Process
Plastic cutting involves materials with different thicknesses, rigidity and filler content. A blade intended for a thin web may require a different geometry from a tool cutting thick sections or processing recycling feedstock.
Providing the plastic specification and cutting method helps define the required edge profile and carbide material. The general description “plastic blade” is not sufficient to reproduce a machine-specific cutting part.
Custom Circular Blade Geometry
The product uses a carbide round blade design with CNC-ground geometry. Outside diameter, bore, thickness and mounting features should be defined on the drawing.
For recycling or shredding enquiries, include the cutter arrangement and loading details. A circular knife is not automatically interchangeable with a hooked cutter, toothed shredder disc or another size-reduction tool.
