Overview
This mold features 1‑out‑2 cavity layout, specially developed for automotive HVAC air ducts.
HVAC duct parts are large curved hollow plastic components for vehicle air‑conditioning systems. Parts have thin wall thickness, long flow paths, complex bent contours, and strict requirements for air‑tightness & dimensional stability.
Poor venting and unbalanced cooling easily cause short‑shot, burn marks and warpage which will lead to air leakage after assembly.
Our duct molds adopt targeted venting strategy and conformal cooling design to solve these typical industry challenges.
