The metal separator consists of two main sections: metal detection and rejection, both controlled by a central control box. The metal detector generates a high-frequency magnetic field. When metals pass through the sensor, they influence the magnetic field, triggering a signal to the rejection device for immediate removal.
While this machine provides optimal metal separation solutions, detection may be compromised in the following scenarios:
- When detected drugs have particles significantly smaller than standard metal detection thresholds
- When multiple metals are detected simultaneously and the rejection device cannot be properly deactivated
