I. Compatible Machine Models
SY365H, SY375H, SY395H, SY415H, SY485H (Dedicated to HVME400 positive displacement distribution valve; not compatible with old KMX32 Kawasaki valves)
II. Structure and Installation
1. Composition: Complete priority valve assembly including cone spool, valve seat, reset spring, and seals.
2. Installation Location: Oil inlet connection of the distribution valve and plug-in position for the steering priority oil circuit, controlling priority supply of pilot/steering oil.
3. Structure: Conical seal type, which opens and closes via oil pressure for throttling; dedicated accessory for the priority circuit.
III. Core Function (Steering Priority Control)
1. Priority Steering Oil Supply: During travel and compound operations, ensures priority oil supply to the steering circuit, guaranteeing steering priority without oil competition and preventing light or floating steering.
2. Excess Oil Confluence to Main Pump Oil Circuit: When steering is not operated, the spool closes, and all hydraulic oil is directed to the working system (boom/arm/bucket), enhancing digging flow and speed.
3. Whole-machine load-sensitive flow distribution; a key component for the coordination of compound operations.
IV. Original Factory Operating Parameters
Priority Opening Pressure Drop: 0.8~1.0 MPa; After steering priority cutoff, all oil flows into the main working circuit.
V. Typical Fault Phenomena
1. Spool Cone Surface Wear and Internal Leakage: Weak steering during compound operations, floating when turning, and steering oil deficiency causing jamming during actions.
2. Spool Sticking in Open Position: Always prioritizing steering, leading to insufficient working flow → slow lifting, weak bucket closing, and generally slow machine operations.
3. Spring Softening: Disrupted priority logic, normal operation under light load, but significant speed drop during heavy load compound operations.
