Changan Eado PHEV
The Changan Eado PHEV is a compact 4-door plug-in hybrid sedan powered by Changan's Smart Blue Whale 3.0 system – a "tri-motor" architecture that works as both a parallel hybrid and a range-extender. A 1.5L engine (72 kW / 98 PS) teams with a front permanent-magnet synchronous motor of up to 158 kW (215 PS) and 330 N·m through an E-CVT, driving the front wheels. The result is up to 145 km CLTC pure-electric range and 1,300 km combined range, DC fast charging from 30% to 80% in about 19 minutes, and a 0–100 km/h time as quick as 6.8 seconds – all wrapped in a practical 2,765 mm-wheelbase body.
