Product Description

 

There are some precautions to be taken during use and construction. Due to the small size of fiberglass fibers, when cutting or processing materials, it is recommended to avoid inhaling fiber dust or contact with the skin. It is recommended to operate in a well ventilated environment and take appropriate protective measures such as wearing masks and gloves. When laying, it is usually necessary to face the aluminum foil layer towards the heat source or the direction that needs to be reflected. The connection can be sealed with specialized aluminum foil tape to maintain overall continuity and sealing. When storing, it should be placed in a dry and clean environment to avoid heavy pressure and sharp objects scratching the surface.

 

With the continuous advancement of material technology, aluminum foil fiberglass cloth is also developing and changing. Some products may undergo oxidation or coating treatment on the surface of aluminum foil to enhance its corrosion resistance or alter its surface properties. There are also attempts to composite aluminum foil with base fabrics of different materials or structures to meet more specific needs. The adhesive used in its production process is also improving towards being more environmentally friendly and resistant to high temperatures.

 

 

Features

 

Excellent insulation and heat reflection: The aluminum foil layer has a reflectivity of over 90% for far-infrared thermal radiation, significantly reducing heat conduction and suitable for insulation and heat preservation scenarios.


High temperature resistance and flame retardancy: Glass fiber substrate can withstand temperatures up to -196 ℃ to 300 ℃ (some products can reach 500-600 ℃), complying with GB8624 A1 or DIN4102 A1 non combustible standards, and self extinguishing upon ignition.


High strength and flexibility are combined: the longitudinal and transverse tensile strength can reach 8000 × 6000 N/5cm, the texture is firm and not easy to tear, while maintaining a certain degree of flexibility for easy construction.


Good moisture resistance and sealing: The aluminum foil layer achieves near zero water vapor permeability, making it impermeable and non breathable, effectively blocking moisture and protecting the core material (such as rock wool and glass wool).


Strong corrosion resistance and weather resistance: treated with anti-corrosion coating or polyethylene hot air composite process, resistant to acid and alkali, mold and suitable for humid, industrial or outdoor environments.


Lightweight and easy to construct: The thickness is usually 0.25-3.0 mm, and the weight is 75-2000 g/m ². It can be cut and bonded, and is commonly used for air duct wrapping, pipeline insulation, equipment protection, etc.
