Product Description
Heat Treated fiberglass fabric is weaved of fiberglass yarn or textured yarn, then heated through heating tower into golden color. This product possesses great characters of fire-proof, high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance. It is widely used as fire blanket, welding curtain and protection cover.
Glass Fiber Fabric with Heat Treatment, provides better durability. Thicker, heavier and stronger Fabric far more resistance to heat impact from welding sparks as compared to other thinner and textured clothes. Non hairy texture preventing irritation to be exposed skin, common in other fabric and asbestos clothes. Reduce the overall impact temperature and prevent burn through. Temperature resistance capability of up to 550°C, and can sustain even higher temperature sparks intermittently. Provides better durability, when subjected to heat shock treatments.
Soft and flexible, making it ideal for wrapping around uneven surfaces and equipment. Used extensively in ship fabrication/repairs, oil/gas, petrochemical/metal construction industries where heat insulation, insulation lining and extensive welding take place. Ideal to conduction heat away from point of heat impact. Density facilities increases heat flow, provide and efficient heat conduction system away from the falling sparks area.
Features
Excellent resin permeability: After removing wax, the fibers are exposed, allowing epoxy resin, silicone resin and other matrix materials to fully penetrate, significantly improving the dry and wet mechanical strength of the laminated board and avoiding delamination defects.
High temperature resistance and thermal stability: No organic wax residue, long-term use temperature can reach 300 ℃~500 ℃ (depending on the glass fiber model), instantaneous temperature resistance is higher, and no volatiles or carbonization are produced at high temperatures, with good dimensional stability.
High electrical insulation performance: no conductive impurities on the surface, stable dielectric performance, high breakdown voltage, suitable for high-frequency circuit substrates and high-voltage electrical insulation wrapping.
Clean and dust-free surface: After dewaxing and subsequent water washing treatment, the fabric surface is smooth, hairless, and stain free, reducing fiber dust and facilitating subsequent coating and laminating processes, resulting in a smoother appearance of the finished product.
Color characteristics: After dewaxing treatment at 300 ℃~400 ℃, the finished product usually appears golden yellow or light brown, which is different from white or light yellow cloth that has not been dewaxed.
Chemical stability: retain the inherent acid and alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, non combustible characteristics of glass fiber, strong anti-aging ability, and long service life.
Processing adaptability: The texture is relatively soft (compared to untreated stiff fabric), easy to cut, sew, and punch, suitable for complex shape forming.
