Product Description
Glass fiber cloth is a fabric material made by drawing extremely fine fibers from glass as raw material and weaving them through textile technology. The diameter of these glass fibers is usually only a few tens of times that of a human hair, but their strength is very high. The fabric woven from them has a series of inherent characteristics:
1. High strength and dimensional stability: Glass fiber itself has high strength, and after weaving into fabric, it can provide good mechanical support in both the warp and weft directions, and is not easily stretched or deformed.
2. Non combustibility: Glass is an inorganic material that does not burn, which gives glass fiber cloth natural fire resistance.
3. Corrosion resistance: It has good resistance to most acids, alkalis, salts, and organic solvents, and is not easily moldy or rotten.
4. Insulation: It has good electrical and thermal insulation properties.
Primitive fiberglass cloth is usually white or light yellow in color, with a single appearance, and the surface may feel itchy when touched directly. In order to broaden its application range, improve its surface performance, and meet color requirements, subsequent processing is necessary.
