Product Description
The dyeing process of fiberglass cloth has its own unique characteristics. Firstly, the surface of glass fiber is smooth and chemically stable, which makes it difficult for dyes to adhere. Therefore, pre-treatment of glass fiber cloth is usually required before dyeing to increase its surface roughness and activity, and improve the adsorption capacity of dyes. Pre treatment methods include chemical treatment, plasma treatment, etc. Chemical treatment can use reagents such as acid and alkali to etch the surface of glass fibers, increasing the number of micropores and active groups on the surface; Plasma treatment is achieved by bombarding the surface of glass fibers with high-energy plasma, which generates free radicals on the surface and enhances its activity.
