Block FSW Liquid Cooling Plate Friction Welding Stir Connector
Friction Stir Welded Liquid Cold Plates with AL6061 base material. A longitudinal channel is formed on the base through deep hole drilling, then milled through at both ends of the transverse interval. The channel is closely connected by friction stir welding technology, providing superior compression strength and thinner thickness. This technology has been successfully applied to liquid cooled heat sinks for high power fiber lasers.
Hard anodized surface treatment is made possible by the material with similar composition and the friction stir welding process without adding solder. The FSW Cold Plate finished with hard anodizing enables fiber lasers to withstand harsh service environments and long-term fluid erosion.
