Friction Stir Welding (FSW) Cold Plate is a premium liquid cooling component manufactured using a solid-state welding process. Its core advantages include zero leakage, high strength, long service life, and support for large sizes. - A non-melting solid-state welding process: a rotating stirring tool generates frictional heat to soften the metal (without melting) and forge it into an atomic-level bond.
- Low-temperature process throughout (< 550°C), eliminating fusion defects, thermal deformation, and material degradation.
No porosity, cracks, or shrinkage cavities; 100% dense welds. Burst pressure ≥ 1.5-2 MPa, with stable long-term pressure resistance. Withstands > 10,000 thermal cycles without cracking or leaking.
Joint strength reaches over 90% of the base metal; fatigue and vibration resistance far exceed brazing and fusion welding. Uniform material with excellent corrosion resistance.
