Flame Retardant Anti UV PE Greenhouse Plastic Film For Crop Cultivation
Flame Retardant Anti‑UV PE Greenhouse Plastic Film for Crop Cultivation
Product description:
Flame-retardant film is a functional film produced during the manufacturing process of ordinary plastic film by adding environmentally friendly flame retardants, modified resins, or using a surface flame-retardant coating process.
Key characteristics: It does not easily continue to burn when exposed to open flame, and it self-extinguishes quickly after the flame is removed, preventing the flame from spreading. It also suppresses the generation of dense smoke and toxic fumes, delaying the spread of fire, reducing the risk of fire, and meeting various fire safety standards.
Technical Parameter
| Material | PE / EVA / PO |
| Flame Retardant Rating |
UL94 V-0 |
| Self-Extinguishing Property | Yes |
| Light Transmission | 85%-95% |
| Tensile Strength | ≥20 MPa |
| Service Life | ≥5 Years |
Advantages:
1. Fire-retardant and highly self-extinguishing.
It burns slowly upon contact with an open flame and self-extinguishes shortly after being removed from the flame source, preventing the spread of fire and effectively blocking its propagation. It has passed UL94 V0/V1/V2 fire resistance tests.
2. Low smoke and low toxicity, ensuring safety.
The smoke production during combustion is far lower than ordinary films, releasing very little corrosive or toxic gas, reducing the risk of asphyxiation and poisoning injuries in a fire.
3. Retains the properties of the base film.
It retains the original characteristics of the substrate: good flexibility, tensile strength, waterproof and moisture-proof, insulating, and available in light-transmitting/light-blocking options. It is highly processable, allowing for slitting, heat sealing, lamination, and die-cutting.
4. Temperature and aging resistant, long service life.
It is resistant to high temperatures and does not easily shrink or deform due to heat; it is also resistant to ultraviolet rays and does not yellow or become brittle. Its flame-retardant properties do not diminish with long-term indoor and outdoor use.
Product Application:
1. Edible mushroom cultivation greenhouses.
Edible mushroom greenhouses contain a large amount of combustible materials (mushroom substrate, sawdust, straw, insulation cotton), and are often heated by electric wires and hot air furnaces, posing a very high fire risk. This is a scenario where flame-retardant film is essential.
2. Livestock and poultry breeding sheds (numerous heating equipment, high flammability risk).
In winter, these sheds commonly use coal-fired stoves, oil-fired hot air blowers, electric heaters, and have a dense network of cables. Hay, manure, and insulation blankets are all flammable materials.
3. Seedling and high-value-added flower greenhouses.
These greenhouses are filled with supplemental lighting, circulating fans, water and fertilizer machines, and electric heating pipes. A fire in a large, interconnected greenhouse area can easily spread rapidly.
