PO Greenhouse Film UV Stabilized Anti Drip Anti Fog Agricultural Greenhouse Film
PO Greenhouse Film UV Stabilized Anti Drip Anti Fog Agricultural Film
Product description:
UV-resistant greenhouse film, also known as aging-resistant UV-stabilized greenhouse film, uses PE/EVA/metallocene PO as the base material. During production, it is compounded with hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS), UV absorbers, and antioxidants, and is typically manufactured using a five- or seven-layer co-extrusion process.
Principle: It selectively absorbs and blocks harmful ultraviolet rays in the 280–380nm range, preventing UV damage to the plastic molecular chains while filtering strong UV light that could scorch crops. This delays the film's own aging and powdering, and protects crops from UV damage, unlike ordinary greenhouse films that are additive-free and become brittle and crack after only six months of exposure to sunlight.
Technical Parameters:
| Material | Premium PE / EVA / PO (Virgin Raw Material) |
| Thickness | 80–250 μm (Custom Available) |
| Light Transmission | 88%–92% |
| UV Resistance | 12–60 Months |
| Technology | 5-Layer or 7-Layer Co-Extrusion |
| Service Life | 1–5 Years |
Advantages:
1. The film itself is weather-resistant and has a significantly extended service life.
UV blocking rate is 90%–99%, making it less prone to yellowing, brittleness, cracking, and powdering under strong sunlight.
Ordinary single-layer PE films have a lifespan of only 6–12 months, while UV-resistant films can typically last 18–36 months, and high-end five-layer co-extruded films can last 3–5 years, significantly reducing replacement costs.
2. Protects crops and reduces various types of damage caused by UV radiation.
Blocks strong UV rays, preventing leaf burn, leaf scorch, and fruit sunburn and cracking.
Reduces UV-induced viral and fungal diseases (gray mold, powdery mildew), reducing pesticide use.
3. Stable optical performance, with long-lasting light transmission without attenuation.
Visible light transmittance is 88%–92%, ensuring photosynthesis; the light transmittance decays slowly with long-term use, and remains above 85% even after 2 years of use; most products are equipped with anti-drip and anti-fogging functions, preventing water from dripping from the inner wall and further reducing diseases caused by high humidity.
Product Application:
(I) Agricultural Greenhouses.
1. Fruit and Vegetable Greenhouses/Cold Frames.
For economically important fruits and vegetables that prefer sunlight but are susceptible to sunburn, such as tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, strawberries, watermelons, and grapes.
2. Seedling Greenhouses.
For vegetable seedlings, flower seedlings, and rice seedlings; seedlings have weak UV resistance, and using UV-resistant film can significantly improve seedling survival rates.
3. Flower and Seedling Greenhouses.
For roses, orchids, succulents, and landscaping seedlings; to prevent leaf and flower scorching and fading.
(II) Suitable for Different Greenhouse Types
1. Solar Greenhouses (Winter Warm Greenhouses), Single Arched Greenhouses, Multi-span Greenhouses.
2. Open-air Shading and Rainproof Arched Greenhouses, Simple Planting Rain Shelters.
(III) Special High UV Areas.
For high-altitude, tropical, and subtropical areas with strong sunlight; high-altitude areas with strong UV radiation; and coastal saline-alkali environments with strong sunlight (UV-resistant additives also resistant to salt spray aging).
