Advantages:
1. Excellent weed control.
The black film completely blocks light, preventing weeds from photosynthesizing and suppressing weeds at the source; significantly reducing the cost of manual weeding and herbicide application, and lowering field labor.
2. Water, fertilizer, and heat retention.
It prevents soil moisture evaporation, reducing irrigation frequency; it also prevents fertilizer loss due to rainwater runoff, improving fertilizer utilization.
3. Soil improvement and disease reduction.
The soil under the film is loose and breathable, preventing compaction; it inhibits the splashing of soil pathogens, reducing soil-borne diseases such as downy mildew and blight. Fruits do not come into contact with soil, resulting in cleaner, less muddy conditions and improved fruit quality.
4. Seedling control and tillering prevention.
It inhibits weeds from competing for water and fertilizer, ensuring all nutrients are supplied to the main crop, resulting in stronger seedlings and increased yield.
