Anti Aging EVA Greenhouse Plastic UV Resistant Long Lasting UV Greenhouse Film
UV Stabilized EVA Greenhouse Film Plastic Film Manufacturer
Product description:
UV EVA greenhouse film, also known as UV-resistant EVA agricultural greenhouse film, is made from ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA). During production, it is formulated with UV absorbers and hindered amine light stabilizers (UV anti-aging agents) and manufactured through a multi-layer co-extrusion process.
"UV" indicates the addition of a long-lasting UV-resistant system within the film, specifically designed to resist 290–400nm ultraviolet rays from sunlight. This solves the problems of yellowing, embrittlement, and light transmittance reduction associated with long-term exposure to sunlight in ordinary EVA films. It also retains the inherent advantages of EVA, such as high light transmittance, heat retention, and flexibility, making it a general-purpose, mid-to-high-end weather-resistant greenhouse film.
Technical Parameters:
| Material | Premium PE / EVA / PO (Virgin Raw Material) |
| Thickness | 80–250 μm (Custom Available) |
| Light Transmission | 88%–92% |
| UV Resistance | 12–60 Months |
| Technology | 5-Layer or 7-Layer Co-Extrusion |
| Service Life | 1–5 Years |
Advantages:
I. Superior UV Resistance and Anti-aging Properties (Core Advantage)
1. Composite UV additives block over 95% of ultraviolet rays, preventing molecular photo-oxidation and breakage, and reducing the likelihood of yellowing, cracking, or powdering under direct sunlight.
2. Service Life: Standard 10-12 mil film lasts 3 years, 12-15 mil film lasts 3-5 years, extending the lifespan by 1-2 years compared to ordinary non-UV EVA films. The advantages are more pronounced in high-altitude and high-sunlight areas.
3. Additives are less prone to leaching and loss; multi-layer co-extrusion locks in the anti-UV components, ensuring long-term stable protection.
II. Ultra-High Light Transmittance, High Crop Photosynthetic Efficiency
1. EVA's low-crystallinity structure allows for 90%-92% light transmittance, low haze, and uniform light penetration.
2. Slow light transmittance decay with long-term use, significantly increasing light accumulation in winter and low-sunlight areas, leading to earlier crop harvests and higher yields.
III. Superior Thermal Insulation Performance Compared to Ordinary PE Films
1. The molecule contains polar vinyl acetate groups, which block the loss of long-wave infrared heat from the ground. The temperature in the greenhouse at night is 2–4℃ higher than that of ordinary PE film, effectively resisting the cold snap in spring and the low temperature damage in winter.
Product Application:
1. Vegetable Greenhouses (Mainstream).
Winter/Early Spring Vegetables: Tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, eggplants, lettuce, chives, etc.
Prioritized for cold northern regions and high-altitude, high-sunlight mountainous areas, providing both insulation and UV protection to reduce winter frost damage and summer sun aging.
2. Fruit and Berry Orchard Greenhouses.
Rainproof and rain-sheltered greenhouses for strawberries, grapes, watermelons, and melons; drip-proof and anti-drip properties ensure smooth fruit skin and increase marketable fruit yield.
3. Flower and Seedling Greenhouses.
Rose, lily, and succulent seedling greenhouses; high light transmittance promotes flower bud differentiation, and long-lasting UV protection prevents seedling scorching from strong sunlight.
