Agricultural Light Diffusion Greenhouse Film UV Stabilized Greenhouse Plastic Film
Light Diffusion Greenhouse Film UV Stabilized Greenhouse Film Supplier
Product description:
Diffuse UV greenhouse film (also called anti-UV diffused light PO film) is mostly produced using a five-layer co-extrusion process. The film contains two core functional ingredients: nano-inorganic diffused light particles and long-lasting UV stabilizers.
Diffuse scattering function:** When sunlight passes through the film, it undergoes multi-angle refraction, transforming harsh direct light into soft, diffused light, eliminating shadows on the greenhouse frame and plants.
UV protection function:** It selectively blocks harmful UV-B short-wave ultraviolet rays while allowing moderate transmission of beneficial long-wave ultraviolet rays, providing dual protection—delaying the film's own aging and extending its lifespan, while also reducing UV burns on crops and inhibiting disease outbreaks.
Technical Parameters:
| Material | Premium PE / EVA / PO (Virgin Raw Material) |
| Thickness | 80–250 μm (Custom Available) |
| Light Transmission | 88%–92% |
| UV Resistance | 12–60 Months |
| Technology | 5-Layer or 7-Layer Co-Extrusion |
| Service Life | 1–5 Years |
Advantages:
(I) Optical Illumination Advantages
1. Uniform Illumination, Enhancing Overall Photosynthesis.
Diffuse light penetrates the lower layer of the crop canopy, ensuring light reaches the undersides and inner parts of branches and leaves, increasing the photosynthetic efficiency of lower leaves by 15%–25%.
2. Completely Eliminates Sunburn and Leaf Scorch.
No strong light spots; no localized hotspots form at midday, effectively preventing sunburn on tomatoes, peppers, melons, flowers, leaves, and fruits.
3. Balanced Light Transmittance without Decay.
Total light transmittance can reach 85%–90%, and haze can be customized from 40%–90%; better light transmission in the early morning and late evening in low light conditions, resulting in faster temperature rise and no impact on winter lighting.
(II) Dual UV Protection
1. Protects the Film Itself.
The outer layer of UV stabilizer resists degradation from outdoor ultraviolet radiation, with a service life of 3–5 years, far superior to ordinary transparent films (8–12 months), and resistant to wind, hail, and pesticide fumigation aging;
2. Protects Crops.
It blocks more than 70% of scorching UV-B, reducing oxidative damage to crops; at the same time, it avoids premature aging of plants caused by strong ultraviolet radiation.
Product Application:
1. Fruits and Vegetables (Mainstream Applications).
Fruits: Tomatoes, strawberries, grapes, watermelons, cantaloupes, peppers, cucumbers.
Leafy Vegetables/Onions and Garlic: Lettuce, romaine lettuce, scallions, chives (Prevents leaf tip drying and leaf fibrosis, maintains vibrant green color).
Seedlings: Vegetable seedlings, fruit tree seedlings (Seedlings are sensitive to strong light; diffused light promotes faster growth and higher survival rates).
2. Flowers, Potted Plants, Cut Flowers Greenhouse.
Rose, lily, hydrangea, succulent, orchid, etc.; Prevents petal burn and dull flower color, extends flowering period, and significantly increases the marketability of cut flowers.
