PE / EVA / PO Greenhouse Plastic UV Resistant Agricultural Greenhouse Film
UV Resistant Greenhouse Film Agricultural Greenhouse Film Manufacturer
Product description:
UV-resistant greenhouse film is a functional greenhouse film made by adding UV absorbers, light stabilizers, and antioxidants to PE/PO/EVA raw materials. It can block and absorb UV ultraviolet rays in sunlight that can damage the film and crops. It is divided into three main categories: ordinary UV-resistant film, five-layer co-extruded high weather-resistant UV-resistant PO film, and EVA UV-resistant diffuse scattering film.
Technical Parameters:
| Material | Premium PE / EVA / PO (Virgin Raw Material) |
| Thickness | 80–250 μm (Custom Available) |
| Light Transmission | 88%–92% |
| UV Resistance | 12–60 Months |
| Technology | 5-Layer or 7-Layer Co-Extrusion |
| Service Life | 1–5 Years |
Advantages:
1. Durable film with significantly extended lifespan.
UV radiation is the main culprit for film aging, cracking, whitening, and embrittlement. Anti-UV additives block the degradation of UV molecules, allowing ordinary PE anti-UV films to last 1-2 years, and high-end PO anti-UV films to last 3-5 years.
2. Protects crops from UV burns.
Filters strong UV rays, preventing sunscald, cracking, and rough, aged fruit and vegetable leaves and fruits.
Inhibits strong UV rays from burning seedlings, significantly improving seedling survival rates.
3. Stable light transmittance without rapid degradation.
Ordinary greenhouse films experience a significant drop in light transmittance after months of exposure to sunlight. Anti-UV films maintain high light transmittance over a long period, ensuring photosynthesis, resulting in uniform crop growth and higher yields.
4. Multifunctional composite properties.
Mainstream anti-UV PO films on the market can be stacked with: anti-drip and anti-fogging, diffuse scattering, heat preservation, light conversion, dust prevention, and flame retardant functions, solving multiple planting needs with a single film.
5. Resistant to high and low temperatures, and weatherproof.
The UV-resistant formula simultaneously enhances the film's weather resistance, preventing softening and adhesion at high summer temperatures and hardening and cracking at low winter temperatures. It also resists strong winds, hail, and minor impacts.
Product Application:
1. Fruit and Vegetable Greenhouses.
Strawberries, grapes, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, watermelons, and melons: Protects fruit from sunburn, improving appearance and market value.
2. Seedling Greenhouses.
Vegetable seedlings, flower seedlings, and sapling cultivation. Weak and delicate plants have poor sun tolerance; UV-resistant film significantly reduces the risk of seedling burn.
3. Medicinal Herb Greenhouses.
Ginseng, Panax notoginseng, Dendrobium, and other shade-loving medicinal herbs: Blocks ultraviolet rays to prevent plant wilting and loss of active ingredients.
4. Open-Air Arched Greenhouses and Simple Cold Frames.
Simple greenhouses without wall shading, exposed to full sun, receive stronger ultraviolet radiation; these are essential greenhouse films.
