Flame Retardant Greenhouse Film is a specialized agricultural covering film designed to improve fire safety in greenhouse environments while maintaining the excellent performance of conventional greenhouse films. It is manufactured from 100% virgin PE, EVA, or PO resins combined with high-performance flame-retardant additives and advanced 5-layer or 7-layer co-extrusion technology.
Unlike standard greenhouse films, flame retardant greenhouse film is formulated to slow the spread of flames and reduce fire hazards when exposed to ignition sources. This provides valuable time for emergency response and helps reduce damage to greenhouse structures and crops.
In addition to enhanced fire resistance, the film can also incorporate functional additives such as UV stabilization, anti-drip, anti-fog, infrared (IR) heat retention, and light diffusion, making it suitable for year-round commercial greenhouse production.
