A: No adhesive tape should be described as an unlimited fire barrier. This product uses a flame-retardant, heat-resistant construction, but any project requiring a named flame, smoke or transportation test must use a model evaluated to that specific test method.
Q: Can it replace ordinary aluminum foil duct tape?
A: Yes, when the application requires additional tensile strength, puncture resistance, vibration resistance or high-temperature performance. For ordinary room-temperature duct sealing, an unreinforced foil tape may be more economical.
Q: Can it be used outdoors?
A: The foil surface resists moisture, weathering and UV exposure, but long-term outdoor performance also depends on adhesive selection, edge sealing, surface preparation and water exposure.
Q: Can custom sizes or die-cut parts be supplied?
