1. Product Overview
Brown PTFE Tape with Release Liner, also known as Liner-Backed Brown PTFE Tape, Die-Cut PTFE Glass Cloth Tape or Heat Sealer Tape with Liner, is a high-temperature industrial tape consisting of PTFE-coated woven fiberglass cloth, high-temperature silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive and a removable protective liner.

The release liner stabilizes the adhesive-backed material during converting and prevents the adhesive surface from sticking to tools, rollers, worktables or adjacent tape layers before installation.

Temperature Performance
After the liner is removed, the tape construction is designed for continuous use from approximately -70°C to 260°C under suitable conditions.
The stated 300°C peak applies only to validated short-duration exposure. It must not be treated as the continuous operating temperature.
The release liner is only used for storage, converting and application. It must be removed before the tape enters the high-temperature process.
Surface Preparation
The equipment surface must be clean, dry and free from oil, dust, moisture, rust and release agents. Contaminated surfaces can reduce initial adhesion and cause edge lifting during heating.
