The door frame is welded or bolted to the collector housing. When closed, the toggle clamps pull the door panel against the frame, compressing the embedded EPDM or FKM gasket. The double U-channel design creates two separate sealing surfaces, providing redundant protection against leakage. Negative pressure inside the collector pulls the door tighter against the frame, enhancing the seal during operation. Opening the door requires only releasing the toggle clamps and swinging it open on the heavy-duty hinges.
