Installation & Operation Notes
- Reserve adequate ventilation space around the external motor; never wrap or obstruct the motor cooling fan
- Drum body must be installed horizontally with inclination ≤5°; steep-angle applications require backstop and braking systems
- Fill drum interior with industrial gear oil; replace every 2,000 operating hours
- Weatherproof all motor electrical connections; install rain shield in humid or outdoor conditions
- Use drum support bracket lifting eyes for hoisting; never lift by pulling on the external motor
- Regularly inspect planetary gear wear and bearing temperature rise; stop immediately for inspection if abnormalities are detected
