Performance Characteristics
The high adhesion adhesive provides excellent adhesion to various surfaces. Features a medium-firm acrylic adhesive system with both high initial adhesion and good high-temperature holding power. The tissue carrier adds dimensional stability to foams and other substrates while providing easier handling during slitting and die-cutting.
Application Guidelines
Techniques: Bond strength depends on adhesive-to-surface contact. Firm application pressure improves bond strength. For optimum adhesion, bonding surfaces must be clean, dry and well unified. Recommended cleaning solvents: isopropyl alcohol or heptane.
Temperature: Ideal application temperature range is 70°F to 100°F (21°C to 38°C). Initial application below 50°F (10°C) is not recommended as adhesive becomes too firm to adhere readily. Once properly applied, low temperature holding is generally satisfactory.
Equipment: Lamination equipment is required for wide web format applications to ensure acceptable quality.
