High Thermal Conductivity Ceramic Si3N4 Grinding Mortar Pestle Contamination‑Free Lab Grinding Melting
High‑Toughness Ceramic Si3N4 Grinding Mortar Contamination‑Free Lab Grinding Vessel for Sample Preparation
Si₃N₄ Silicon Nitride Mortar
Compared with agate, alumina and zirconia mortars, Si₃N₄ mortar achieves better impact resistance and chipping resistance during manual or mechanical grinding.
Extremely low wear rate greatly reduces foreign particle contamination to test samples. The material is chemically inert against most acids, alkalis, organic solvents and salt solutions, avoiding chemical reaction with ground samples. Excellent thermal‑shock resistance allows temperature change during sample processing without cracking. High hardness enables efficient crushing and fine grinding of hard mineral, alloy and ceramic raw materials.
We support custom inner diameter, depth, wall thickness and outer profile. Matching silicon nitride pestle can be supplied as complete set. Strict dimensional control ensures stable fitting between mortar and pestle. Ideal upgrade for labs pursuing low‑contamination sample pretreatment.
Si3N4 Ceramic Parts are a man made compound synthesized through several different chemical reaction methods. they are pressed and sintered by well developed methods to produce a ceramic with a unique set of outstanding properties. The material is dark gray to black in color and can be polished to a very smooth reflective surface, giving parts with a striking appearance.
