Flat Glass Tempering Furnace STG-A0630-3T
The STG-A0630-3T flat glass tempering furnace is a complete production line built for manufacturing high-strength flat tempered glass for furniture, home appliances, architectural glass and many other applications. It integrates a loading table, a heating section, a quenching and cooling section, a passing section, an unloading table and a full computer control system into one reliable, energy-efficient unit.
Product Overview
The furnace combines a double-layer insulated heating chamber, high-temperature ceramic roller conveying and a precision flat quenching system to deliver even heating and uniform cooling. With a maximum loading area of 600 x 3000 mm and a glass thickness range of 3 - 10 mm, it covers the everyday demand of both small batch and continuous tempered glass production. The furnace supports process parameter storage and recall, so repeat orders can be produced automatically from stored data, reducing changeover time and operator error.
Equipment Structure
- Loading Table - rubber-covered rollers and Kevlar rope automatically convey the glass to the ready-to-enter position and stop, feeding the furnace on the computer command.
- Heating Section - double-layer box type covered with thermo-insulating material; high-temperature resistant ceramic roller conveyor; matrix-layout heating elements with spiral resistance erected on ceramic parts for easy replacement; the upper section can be lifted for maintenance.
- Flat Quenching / Cooling Section - alloy sections cold-riveted to steel sheet to avoid heat-welding deformation and keep the air face flat; rational nozzle aperture and air-hole arrangement ensure even cooling; upper and lower quenches with linkage and individual drives control the optimum nozzle height and balance the top and bottom air volume.
- Passing Section - passing technology is used for 4-5 mm glass, saving installation power and up to 60% of the quenching energy without starting the larger blower.
- Unloading Table - similar to the loading table; the glass is taken away manually or by a robot if available at the customer factory.
- Control System - process parameter storage and recall for glass thickness, size, color, type and float glass source; roller drive, temperature and quenching controllers; auto pre-heating function; industrial control computer with display screens for process status, process parameters, operation and maintenance, and system parameters, together with self-diagnosis and alarm display functions.
