Product Description:
The F663NV3A is a GPON/XPON optical network terminal (ONT/ONU) device, commonly known as an "optical modem," primarily used for fiber optic broadband access (FTTH), and also functions as a router and wireless WiFi device.
Core Specifications and Functions
Network Interfaces: Equipped with one Gigabit Ethernet port (1GE), three 100Mbps Ethernet ports (3FE), one voice telephone port (1POTS/TEL), and one USB port, supporting wired connections and voice services for multiple devices.
Wireless Capabilities: Built-in 2.4GHz single-band WiFi module (some sources mention an external antenna), supporting 802.11b/g/n protocols, suitable for coverage in small to medium-sized homes, but slightly limited in terms of interference resistance and speed compared to dual-band routers.
Technical Standards: Supports GPON and XPON technologies, compatible with various fiber optic deployment solutions such as FTTB and FTTH, with a theoretical downlink speed of up to 2.5Gbps.
Power Supply: Uses DC 12V/1A power supply, with low power consumption and stable operation.
Typical Application Scenarios:
Home Broadband Access: As the main gateway provided by the operator, it converts fiber optic signals into network signals and provides basic WiFi coverage.
