PON BOARD GPBC GPBD GPBH GPFD GPMD, FOR OLT MA5608T MA5683T GPON OLT PON CARD

These GPON service boards are the mainstream service boards for the MA5600 series OLTs. Different models have clear distinctions in port specifications, optical module configurations, and applicable scenarios.

GPBC: An entry-level 8-port GPON service board, mostly used in early small-capacity OLT deployments, suitable for low-density older residential areas and scattered access scenarios in rural towns. It is now gradually being replaced by 16-port boards.

GPBD: A mainstream, universal 16-port GPON board used by operators. It's the most widely used model in domestic broadband access scenarios, compatible with most FTTH home broadband and general IPTV services.

GPBH: A high-power enhanced 16-port GPON board, supporting ultra-high splitting ratios. Suitable for long-distance, high-split-ratio rural and remote area access scenarios, significantly reducing backbone fiber optic cable laying costs.

GPFD: A cost-effective 16-port GPON board, positioned similarly to GPBD, with a more streamlined hardware design. Primarily used in cost-sensitive scenarios such as government and enterprise leased lines and broadband access for small and medium-sized operators.

GPMD: A short-distance, high-density 16-port GPON board, designed specifically for dense access scenarios in FTTB buildings and campuses. It enables high-density port deployment over short distances, reducing per-port deployment costs.

These boards are primarily compatible with the MA5680T, MA5683T, and MA5608T series OLTs. Different hardware versions of the boards have specific firmware version requirements for the OLT main control board; version incompatibility will result in board registration failures.

Some third-party compatible boards can be used on the C300/C320 series OLTs through adaptation and configuration, but they cannot fully utilize all protocol features and are not recommended for use in carrier core networks.
