Waterproof Backing Board
Waterproof Backer Board is made with extruded polystyrene board as the core, overed on the surface with alkali-resistant mesh fabric and a high=polymer mortar coating prepared using a special process formula. The uniform and dense closed-cell structure of the extruded board prevent water absorption and inhibits water vapor penetration. the alkali-resistant mesh fabric enhances the strength and rigidity of the waterproof Backer Board . while the surface polymer waterproof mortar is fully compatible for bonding with any modified polymer mortar. tile adhesive , or other decorative coatings .
Waterproof Backer Board are commonly used in indoor tile and stone installations on walls , floors, and countertops where both waterproofing and tiling need to be considered .
